{
"question": "How do you count tracked users for billing?",
"answer": "A tracked user is any identified user or anonymous device that sends at least one event in a calendar month. Each one is counted once per month, no matter how many events they send, and internal or test traffic you filter out is never billed."
},
{
"question": "Where is our data stored?",
"answer": "You choose the region when you create a workspace: US (Virginia) or EU (Frankfurt). Event data, backups and processing stay in that region, and Enterprise plans can pin sub-processors to the EU as well."
},
{
"question": "Is Tessaly SOC 2 compliant?",
"answer": "Yes. Tessaly holds a SOC 2 Type II report, renewed every year, and is GDPR and CCPA ready. Customers on Growth and Enterprise can request the full report and our latest penetration test summary under NDA."
},
{
"question": "Can we sync Tessaly data to our warehouse?",
"answer": "Growth and Enterprise plans include a two-way sync with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift and Databricks. Raw events land in your warehouse every hour, and cohorts you build in Tessaly can be written back as tables."
},
{
"question": "We already use another analytics tool. How hard is it to migrate?",
"answer": "Most teams move in under a week. We import historical events from Amplitude, Mixpanel and Heap, map your existing event names, and run both tools side by side until your numbers match."
},
{
"question": "Do we need engineers to set it up?",
"answer": "One engineer for an afternoon is typical: add the SDK or connect your existing Segment or RudderStack source. After that, product managers build reports, funnels and cohorts without writing SQL."
},
{
"question": "Can we cancel or change plans at any time?",
"answer": "Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled from billing settings and stop at the end of the period. Annual plans can upgrade any time with prorated billing, and you can export all of your data before you leave."
